This Cookie Notice explains how iConsultants Ltd ( "iConsultants", "we", "our", or "us") uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit iconsultants.tech. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy and forms part of it.

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by websites you visit. They are widely used to make websites work, remember preferences, and provide information to site owners about how the site is being used.

Cookies can be set by the website you are visiting (first-party cookies) or by other domains whose content is embedded in the page (third-party cookies).

We use four categories of cookies and similar technologies:

• Necessary — always on. Remembers your cookie choice and protects our forms from abuse (Cloudflare Turnstile). No consent is required for these under UK PECR.
• Analytics — off until you agree. Google Analytics 4 measures visits and page use in aggregate.
• Experience analytics — off until you agree. Microsoft Clarity produces heatmaps and session recordings so we can find usability problems. Text you type into forms is masked and is not recorded.
• Advertising — off until you agree. Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, Meta and OpenAI Ads measure whether a visit from one of our adverts led to an enquiry.

Your choice is stored in your browser. You can change or withdraw it at any time using Cookie settings in the footer of every page.

What happens before you choose

Until you make a choice, all four Google consent signals (analytics storage, ad storage, ad user data, ad personalisation) are set to "denied".

The Google tag is loaded on our public pages before you choose. While consent is denied it does not read or write advertising or analytics cookies; it may send Google a limited, cookieless signal that a page was viewed, which includes your IP address, browser type and the page address. The Microsoft Advertising, Microsoft Clarity, Meta and OpenAI tags are not loaded at all unless you accept the relevant category.

No advertising conversion is recorded for an enquiry sent while advertising is refused, and it is not recorded later if you change your mind.

Tools and how long they keep data

• Cookie choice (ic_consent) — necessary — kept until you clear it.
• Cloudflare Turnstile — necessary — session.
• Google Analytics 4 — analytics — cookies up to 2 years; event data 14 months.
• Microsoft Clarity — experience analytics — recordings 30 days; cookies up to 1 year.
• Google Ads — advertising — cookie up to 90 days.
• Microsoft Advertising — advertising — cookies 1 day and up to 13 months.
• Meta Pixel — advertising — cookie up to 90 days.
• OpenAI Ads pixel — advertising — cookies 30 days and 365 days.

We do not send your name, email address, phone number or message to any of these tools. Admin, proposal and contract pages do not load them.

To understand how our site is performing in aggregate (page views, referrers, country-level traffic) and to monitor loading performance (Core Web Vitals), we use Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights, privacy-friendly analytics provided by our hosting platform.

These tools:

• do not use cookies of any kind;
• do not collect personal data or store identifiers;
• do not fingerprint or track visitors across sites, and do not build persistent visitor profiles;
• process data in aggregate and anonymised form only, consistent with UK GDPR, the EU GDPR, and the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR).

Because these analytics are cookie-free and do not process personal data, a consent banner is not required for their operation. You can read more on the Vercel Analytics privacy documentation.

Our pages load typography from the Google Fonts content delivery network. When your browser requests these font files, Google receives standard HTTP request data (such as your IP address and user-agent string) to deliver the response, but does not set cookies through this request.

If we ever introduce additional third-party content (for example, embedded videos, maps, or interactive widgets), we will update this notice and, where required, request your prior consent.

You can manage or delete cookies through your browser settings. Help pages for the most common browsers:

Please note that blocking strictly necessary cookies may affect how some parts of the site behave.

If we change the cookies or analytics technologies we use, we will update this notice and revise the "Last updated" date at the top. We may also notify you on the site where the change is material.
